A twist on the traditional gluten free apple crisp. Honey crisp apples stuffed with a gluten free oatmeal cookies and dripping with caramel.
I N G R E D I E N T S
4 Honey Crisp (or other large) apples
8 Tablespoons brown sugar
4 Tablespoon butter
4 Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, crumbled
P R E P A R A T I O N
Core apples. Throw out core. Scoop out inside of apple. Save apple pieces. Melt butter. Combine brown sugar, melted butter, apple pieces and crumbled oatmeal cookies. Stuff into apples. Press down. Some of the butter/sugar mixture will come out. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Move apples to serving platter and pour caramel from dish over them
